LK Metrology has announced that its complete range of portable measuring arms. offered in 6-axis touch-probing and 7-axis multi-sensor variants, are now supplied as standard with a 4.5 inch diameter mounting ring to allow the unit to sit on a larger base, rather than that provided by the previous 3.5 inch ring.

The Reflecon TopoTrack 2 in 1 Scanning Spray was developed to significantly minimise the process time of a 3D scan. The process time is not only reduced by eliminating the need to stick on and remove reference points, but also because users can guide the scanner over the object much faster.

The placing of reference points required for 3D scanning of large-sized parts such as large machine components is time-consuming and laborious. AESUB is therefore now offering continuous dots on a roll which can be quickly and easily removed and placed on large areas.
