GelSight Introduce New Measurement Tools in GelSight Mobile 4.5 Software
GelSight,a pioneer in surface analysis technology, has announced the release of GelSight® Mobile 4.5, the latest software update for its GelSight Mobile inspection platform. The release improves overall measurement performance, combining system-level optimizations with new measurement tools, a refreshed user interface and enhanced PDF reporting.
GelSight Mobile 4.5 continues the platform’s focus on putting laboratory-grade metrology into the hands of production inspectors. New Profile Analysis and Arc measurement capabilities give users more ways to measure a scan, while enhanced PDF reports make it easier to share inspection results across an organization.
“With GelSight Mobile 4.5, we’ve improved measurement performance across the board, from system-level optimizations to new tools that give inspectors more ways to measure a scan,” said Bob Ochiai, Vice President of Product, GelSight. “Combined with a refreshed interface and enhanced PDF reporting, these updates help teams measure surfaces and share inspection results across their organizations with confidence.”
Key New Features in GelSight Mobile 4.5 Include:
Measurement Performance Improvements: System-level enhancements optimize measurement performance throughout GelSight Mobile.
Profile Analysis Tool: A new tool for advanced profile measurements lets users easily measure angle, radius, line-to-line and point-to-point distances across an extracted profile.
Arc Shape for the Offset Tool: A new Arc shape in the Offset tool measures height differences across circular features.
Enhanced PDF Reporting: PDF reports can now include attached images and a signature line, making it easier to share and sign off on inspection results across an organization.
Refreshed User Interface: A modernized look and improved user experience throughout the application.
