The global dimensional metrology community will once again converge in northern Spain this autumn, as the 22nd edition of Metromeet is set to take place on October 1–2, 2026, at the Euskalduna Conference Center in Bilbao. Recognised as one of the premier international gatherings in the field, the event continues to serve as a focal point for innovation, collaboration, and technical exchange across the metrology landscape.

Collaborative robots make it possible to automate handling and assembly tasks flexibly and safely without the need for physical barriers and, on the other hand, digital metrology integrated into the process means that components can be measured and checked directly in the production line with high precision.

At BIEMH 2026, IDEKO will showcase a technology portfolio designed to address two major challenges for precision manufacturing: chatter phenomena and surface marks on components.
