Powerful Software Applications for Enhanced Functionality
The latest softare offers all of the powerful features and available software applications from the ASH Omni 3 with the added clarity and detail of 4K resolution. The range of optional software applications include:
2D Measurement & Graticules App: Offers a full suite of 2D measurement and annotation features including point-to point, spline, polygon, area, and many other tools, to ensure critical dimensions for product design meet technical specifications. Using the snap to edge feature removes operator subjectivity from the measuring process ensuring repeatable measurements. Factory calibration means there is no need to calibrate at each magnification change. Measurement in the z-axis can also be performed using spot height measurement.
Image Stacking App: Allows users to view a sample with different heights all in focus at the same time for inspection efficiency without the need for multiple focus adjustments.
Overlay Comparator App: An ideal software application for the electronics industry. The overlay comparator allows the creation of an image overlay of a master image to identify defects by overlaying and flashing the live sample image against the stored master image. This application supports identification of issues early in production between gold sample and test samples reducing the risk of costly reworks and wastage.
Side by Side Comparator App: Used to visually compare your live sample to a stored master image in the form of a split screen for rapid identification of differences against the master sample. Acting as a visual reference, the side-by-side comparator helps manufacturers identify defects or non-conformities early on before they become more serious and expensive to fix.
DXF Import/Export App: Enables manufacturers to use their product DXF files to create digital overlay template. Imported DXF files can be edited and annotated for rapid go/no-go testing. DXF files can also be exported for reverse engineering purposes, eliminating time consuming hand measuring and redrawing.
Additionally, VANTAGE is compatible with ASH’s wide range of accessories, allowing users to customise their setup to meet specific needs.
