SHINING3D Inspect 2026 Introduces Streamlined and Modular 3D Inspection Workflows

As manufacturing and quality control requirements continue to evolve, industries are demanding greater efficiency, flexibility, and inspection precision. In response, SHINING 3D Metrology has introduced SHINING3D Inspect 2026, a modular 3D inspection software platform designed to support modern dimensional inspection and quality control workflows.

SHINING3D Inspect 2026 enhances 3D inspection workflows with streamlined GD&T evaluation, deviation analysis, modular inspection tools, and flexible deployment options. From alignment and GD&T evaluation to full-field analysis and reporting, SHINING3D Inspect 2026 delivers a more streamlined and modular approach to 3D inspection.

Developed in-house by SHINING 3D and backed by PTB-certified measurement capability, the software is intended for use across industries including automotive, civil aviation, and precision manufacturing. SHINING3D Inspect 2026 is designed to provide a connected and efficient workflow for a broad range of inspection and measurement tasks.

Streamlined Workflow from Alignment to Reporting

SHINING3D Inspect 2026 enables users to move through key inspection processes with greater efficiency, covering feature creation, alignment, GD&T evaluation, full-field deviation analysis, and report generation. Multiple alignment methods are supported, offering flexibility for different component geometries and inspection scenarios.

The software also supports full-field comparison between scan data and CAD models using intuitive 3D color maps and 2D cross-sectional analysis. These visualization tools help users identify deviations more clearly and assess critical areas with increased confidence.

Support for both ISO and ASME GD&T standards enables accurate tolerance verification for functional features and dimensional validation tasks. In addition, SHINING3D Inspect 2026 includes automated and customizable reporting capabilities to streamline inspection documentation and communication.

Dedicated Modules for Specialized Inspection Tasks

To address more application-specific requirements, SHINING3D Inspect 2026 includes dedicated modules for sheet metal inspection and dent inspection. These modules are designed to simplify setup procedures and provide inspectors and quality engineers with faster access to task-specific tools and functions.

The software also supports flexible deployment across a variety of inspection environments. Users can perform full-featured inspections on desktop workstations, conduct on-device inspections directly on the FreeScan Omni for faster decision-making, or integrate the software into automated inspection systems to support repeatable, high-efficiency workflows.

With its emphasis on streamlined workflows, modular functionality, and flexible deployment, SHINING3D Inspect 2026 expands the SHINING 3D Metrology ecosystem and provides manufacturers with enhanced tools for efficient and adaptable 3D inspection.
