Quality Assurance Event Platform Gearing Up for Take-Off

Exhibitors and expert visitors can look forward to the 34th Control international trade fair for quality assurance in Stuttgart from the 3rd through the 6th May, 2022. Attention will be focused on cutting-edge innovations in the fields of vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as measuring and test technology. More than a third of all registered exhibitors for this year’s live trade fair are scheduled to come from outside of Germany.

As the leading event for measuring technology, the Control international trade fair for quality assurance has been an ideal forum for personal contact and the exchange of technical expertise for decades. “Strong demand for personal trade fair participation has been unbroken for months on the part of the QA industry,” confirms project manager Fabian Krüger of trade fair promoters P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “All over the world, the industry values Control as an indispensable platform and is especially looking forward to this year’s live event after a compulsory two-year hiatus,” says Krüger. “In particular during these current weeks and months of renewed uncertainty due to the pandemic, many companies see the upcoming Control at the beginning of May as a must-attend event,” says the project manager recalling the successful, smooth staging of the on-site trade fairs held last fall.

QA Now More Important Than Ever Before

There’s an enormous need for technical discussion concerning new developments in the QA sector. Many companies are currently introducing enhanced or entirely new QA systems – driven by increasing levels of automation and digitalization, more contactless processes, remote services, small lot sizes and zero-defect manufacturing. The need for quality checks in all processes, including data analysis and end-to-end traceability, now affects nearly all business segments – in industrial as well as service sectors. “QA solutions have never been as important as they are at the moment,” points out Control’s project manager. Solutions and systems in the fields of measuring and test technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, vision technology, image processing, sensor technology and weighing and counting technology have been significantly further developed over the past two years and will meet up with a highly interested expert audience at Control 2022.
