Next-Generation Handheld XRF Analyzer Series Launched
Evident announces the launch of its next-generation Vanta Element handheld XRF analyzer series built for fast, accurate alloy identification in scrap sorting, metal manufacturing and precious metals testing. Available in two affordable models—the Vanta Element analyzer for basic alloy ID and the Vanta Element-S analyzer for alloy ID with light element analysis—the new series offers enhanced comfort, speed, and ease of use to increase confidence in every alloy analysis.
The new Vanta Element series analyzers are engineered for efficiency. Fast, precise alloy analyses are powered by silicon drift detection and the Vanta™ series’ trusted Axon Technology. Both models feature fast grade ID and clear on-screen grade comparison to increase throughput in alloy testing while reducing mix-ups and rework. A refreshed interface with a clearer, brighter display, workflow improvements, and a more fluid navigation system streamlines the training process and daily operation for users of all experience levels.
The new Vanta Element series analyzers were redesigned for increased productivity in demanding conditions. An updated ergonomically balanced handle with a nonslip grip makes the instrument feel lighter, more comfortable and easier to hold during routine alloy analysis. A smaller transport case and optional holster accessory add to the increased ease of movement. Built on a legacy of rugged, dependable XRF analyzers, the new Vanta Element series is IP rated, drop tested and backed by a comprehensive three-year warranty for a low cost of ownership.
Adding to the advanced connectivity features of the Vanta Element series, the new models introduce more ways to save and share data with an optional wireless connection. A new browser-based interface lets users review, share and manage XRF results on a PC, tablet or smartphone for seamless data management and collaboration. Users can also access the Evident Connect cloud for free cloud storage and other data management solutions. Software updates are automatic for instant access to new software features. For users who prefer wired data transfer, these analyzers offer faster access to USB and SD card storage with an updated data port door.
Flexible and affordable, the new Vanta Element series empowers users to maximize their return on investment with X-ray tube and detector configurations suited to specific testing and budget needs. A configurable element suite enables a fully customized data display, and enhanced application support provides the option to add custom analytical capabilities. The efficiency of the series is further improved with a range of field-optimized XRF accessories, including a redesigned field stand, soil foot and holster.
“We are excited to introduce the next-generation Vanta Element and Vanta Element-S handheld XRF analyzers, which deliver greater value, faster performance and increased reliability,” said Ted Shields, Director of Product Management, Analytical Instruments at Evident. “Whether you are sorting scrap, verifying metal grades in a manufacturing process or analyzing precious metals, the Vanta Element series analyzers are designed to help you work more efficiently while reducing operational costs.”
