Callista Acquires Zero Touch Metrology from Sandvik Group
Callista Private Equity GmbH has announced the acquisition of Industrial Metrology Solutions LLC (ZeroTouch) from the Sandvik Group by Callista Asset Management 35 GmbH.
Headquartered in Portland, Oregon and Saint-Erblon, France, ZeroTouch Metrology is a provider of non-contact, in-line-capable inspection and measurement systems for automated manufacturing environments. The company develops high-precision 3D measurement technology for seamless quality assurance of industrial components โ from optical capture through point cloud generation to full integration into existing production lines.
With its modular system architecture, ZeroTouch offers its customers a high degree of flexibility combined with short response times. A standardization level of around 80% across system components allows new projects to be realized quickly and cost-effectively, without compromising on the precision of a tailored solution.
ZeroTouch operates its own development center in Saint Erblon, France, which continuously advances the company’s proprietary measurement and analysis software, as well as its operational headquarters in Portland, USA. Its customer base includes renowned companies from the automotive industry, the luxury watch sector, medical technology, and aerospace.
Following the transaction, ZeroTouch will have the opportunity to focus fully on its own independent strategy. A particular focus will be on realizing internal optimization potential, strengthening intra-group synergies as well as the promotion of newly developed systems.
