NextGen TubeInspect Delivers Faster, Smarter, and More Precise Tube and Wire Bending
Accurex Measurement has announced the launch of the 2025 TubeInspect system, a third generation of the revolutionary non-contact optical measurement solution designed to transform tube bending and wireform manufacturing workflows. The next-generation TubeInspect integrates cutting-edge optical measurement with effortless workflow automation, setting a new standard for production precision, efficiency, and rapid return on investment (ROI).
As the demand for tighter tolerances and higher efficiency grows across industries such as electric vehicles, tube and wire manufacturers face increasing pressure to enhance speed, reduce waste, and maintain consistent product quality. The 2025 TubeInspect system is engineered to meet these challenges by providing advanced optical 3D measurement that delivers fast, reliable results.
Key Features and Benefits:
Speed and Precision: The 3rd generation TubeInspect system provides high-speed, non-contact optical measurements of formed tubes & wires that ensure precise, repeatable results in seconds. The system is designed to maintain accuracy even in demanding environments, such as oily, dusty, or high-temperature production settings, thanks to advanced temperature compensation and ISO 17025-certified calibration.
Flexible Production: The system is designed for flexibility, capable of handling a variety of part types in a single workflow. This eliminates the need for reconfiguring the system for different parts, significantly cutting inspection times and improving overall productivity.
Reliability and Ease of Use: With new onboard CPU and diagnostics, TubeInspect is more reliable than ever while simplifying use. Operators learn to measure perfectly in 5 minutes. An integrated display and LED indicators immediately communicate if corrective action is required.
Sustainability and Efficiency: Featuring eco-friendly power-saving LEDs and an energy saving mode, TubeInspect helps manufacturers achieve sustainability goals while enhancing manufacturing productivity.
TubeInspect Models:
TubeInspect M: Ideal for tubes up to 2m in length and 125 mm in diameter with an 8-camera array.
TubeInspect XL: Designed for broad measurement range, ideal for tubes up to 7 meters long with diameters of up to 200 mm.
Two Resolution Options:
Standard Resolution (Series 35): Equipped with a 3-megapixel camera array for fast and precise tube measurement.
High-End Resolution (Series 37): Featuring 12-megapixel cameras for greater detail and precision enabling measurement of tubular assemblies and busbars with drill holes
The advanced BendingStudio XT12 software solution is designed to streamline tube bending processes and provide seamless integration with the new 2025 TubeInspect system. BendingStudio XT12 transforms tube bending workflows by enabling real-time correction and optimization of parts, reducing waste, and ensuring production consistency.
As manufacturers across various industries face growing pressure to improve speed, precision, and efficiency, BendingStudio XT12 delivers the tools needed to achieve tighter tolerances while maintaining high throughput. This innovative software includes new features that improve measurement performance while streamlining the manufacturing of formed tubes & wires, thereby providing a strong return on investment (ROI) for manufacturers.
Key Features and Benefits:
Real-Time Closed-Loop Integration: BendingStudio XT12 allows TubeInspect to seamlessly send real-time correction data to CNC tube bending machines, interacting with over 45 leading bender brands worldwide. This intelligent integration enables manufacturers to achieve perfect parts in just 1-2 automated correction loops, ensuring minimal waste and consistent quality.
Database API: XT12 includes a new application programming interface (API) through which users can develop applications to read and write from BendingStudio database. Users can use it for anything from reporting on inspection utilization to completely automating the process of creating new parts and inspections.
Increased Reproducibility: BendingStudio XT12 further increases the already excellent Gauge R&R of TubeInspect by enabling control of the only variable from operator to operator: the position of the part in the measurement area. With XT12, the use of reference positions can be enforced so the part will not be measured until it is placed in the prescribed position.
Drillhole Measurement: Products such as stabilizer bars and busbars that contain through holes can now be inspected to include hole position along with the bending geometry of the part without requiring any attachment or adapter placed in the hole.
Applications Across Industries
The 2025 TubeInspect system is perfect for industries including aerospace, energy, automotive, HVAC, heavy equipment and others. Manufacturers of EV components such as hairpins and busbars can rely on TubeInspect to meet the high-performance standards required for these advanced applications.
“Accurex is committed to providing cutting-edge solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy in manufacturing environments,” said Bill Mongon, President of Accurex. “With this third generation TubeInspect system, manufacturers can achieve faster, more accurate measurements and tighter tolerances, while reducing waste and boosting overall productivity.”
