Haas Automation Debuts Its First CMM at IMTS

Haas Automation exhibited its first coordinate measuring machine, the HMM430, at the recent IMTS exhibition in Chicago. The HMM430 brings professional-grade inspection to the production machine shop. The machine is perfect for small- to medium-sized shops looking for their first entry into the world of CMM inspection.

The Hass CMM can streamline quality control by reducing the amount of time spent performing inspections with conventional metrology tools. Compared to similarly sized options from the big names in the CMM world, the HMM430 offers competitive accuracy at an unbeatable Haas price.

With a measuring volume of 400 x 430 x 350mm (X,Y,Z), the linear guidway machine is equipped with linear scales of 0.001mmresolution the CMM is equipped with Renishaw controller and Renishaw MH20i probe head with TP20 probe with standard force module. The HMM430 is equipped with CappsDMIS measuring software allowing inspection program creation directly from 3D models while also allowing quick manual inspection of part features.
