AR-Based Quality Inspection Solutions Supplier Reports Strong Growth and Globalization
Visometry, a specialist in augmented reality solutions for industrial applications has announced that 2024 was a very positive year for the company. 2024 was marked by impressive successes for the company with the establishment of an international reseller network and significant sales growth. In 2025, the Visometry team is focusing on product innovations and further globalization.
Visometry achieved sales growth of around 65 percent in 2024. “We succeeded in achieving all of our goals: These included internationalization and the establishment of a reseller network in Eastern Europe, South Korea and Japan,” explains Dr. Harald Wuest, CEO and co-founder of Visometry. “We were also able to more than double the license sales of our Twyn solution.”
Twyn, the software for visual quality control, has established itself as one of the leading quality inspection solutions for manufacturing companies. Over the past year, the Visometry experts continuously developed the solution further. Numerous customer requirements were incorporated into the new features: These include, for example, the optimized rendering of CAD geometries and the improved tracking of large components such as train carriages.
Due to the development of further enhancements and capabilities Visometry was able to significantly expand its customer base: The company gained 100 new customers – including Stellantis and Siemens Mobility. In total, it currently serves around 250 active customers. Japan and Brazil were added as new markets in 2024. The team was also able to expand the European market. The number of employees has increased accordingly and currently has 31 permanent employees.

Visometry has set itself ambitious goals for 2025. The company plans to continue growing at the same pace and to open up new regions and use cases. “In 2025, we want to address further, previously untapped market potential and expand our partner network,” explains Harald Wuest. “Our goal is to become the world’s leading provider of AR-based quality inspection solutions.”
In order to drive internationalization, Visometry plans to expand its presence in France, Spain, the USA and Canada. As before, the focus is on manufacturers of agricultural and construction machinery with small quantities and a wide variety of variants, as well as manufacturers of welded assemblies and automotive suppliers. But the company is also targeting new industries such as shipbuilding and aviation.
On the product side, the team plans to further develop Twyn with new functions. This includes a feature that supports the automatic quality inspection process by automatically recording deviations. The advantage for users is the minimal initial effort for commissioning. The camera will not only be used for AR overlay, but also for automatic difference analysis. The use of AI methods to automate quality inspections is also being investigated.
