In-situ BOX – Simulating Real-Life Conditions During µCT Analysis
CactuX has introduced new product line, In-situ BOX, designed to enhance CT analysis for research organizations and companies. This solution enables dynamic experiments, which are increasingly valuable for uncovering new insights into the behaviour of internal structures. Dynamic experiments allow observing changes in internal structures under specific conditions, such as mechanical or thermal loads, over a defined time.
An additional device that simulates environmental conditions is essential to ensure successful dynamic experiments. The In-situ BOX offers a versatile and customizable solution for various applications. It combines environmental temperature control and power supply functions to meet diverse experimental needs.
In-situ BOX Key Features:
- Environmental Temperature Control allows precise control of the temperature inside the chamber, ranging from -30°C to +60°C. It’s ideal for analyzing the impact of temperature on various samples, including biological and concrete materials.
- The power supply function is designed to power battery samples during CT analysis, and it supports the real-time study of battery life cycles. With a maximum current of 30A, it can simulate various charging and discharging scenarios. This function can be combined with temperature control to simulate advanced lifecycle conditions.
The In-situ BOX is designed for 360° rotation and is compact, with all necessary components built into the main body. The upper chamber is interchangeable and customizable to accommodate numerous applications, making it a flexible and efficient tool for in-situ research.
