Mahr Introduces Inductive Probe Signal Converter For Metrology Automation
The new Millimar A 1701 M modular measuring amplifier from Mahr is used to connect inductive probes to measuring controllers. It ensures that signals from length measurements are processed and transmitted reliably and error-free.
Users can combine the module with all inductive probes from Mahr or compatible products from other manufacturers. The resulting measuring system is suitable for testing tasks in automated processes and can be easily integrated into an existing production infrastructure.
Equipped with an input for inductive probes, the Millimar A 1701 M picks up the incoming carrier frequency signal and converts it into a standardized analog signal, for example ±10 volts or 0 to 10 volts. It offers various standards as signal outputs. Overall operation is uncomplicated with measuring ranges and filters easy to set. An LED display provides information on the operating status at all times. The compact and robust housing facilitates use in the production environment and can be mounted on a top-hat rail if required.
