Verisurf 2027 Feature Highlight – QIF Inspection Workflow
Verisurf 2027 expands Model-Based Inspection with support for Quality Information Framework (QIF), connecting engineering-defined inspection requirements with inspection planning, measurement, and results. Using engineering requirements contained within the QIF file.
Verisurf can create Inspection Plans that retain supported characteristics, geometry, dimensions, GD&T, reporting relationships, and Persistent IDs. This dramatically reduces the need to manually recreate inspection requirements, helping streamline inspection programming while maintaining the engineering information defined within the QIF data.
Persistent IDs are maintained throughout Inspection Plan creation, measurement, reporting, and QIF Results export, helping preserve digital traceability from engineering definition through inspection results. Verisurf also includes a QIF Results Viewer for reviewing, validating, and interrogating exported inspection results. By connecting engineering-defined QIF data with inspection planning and results exchange, Verisurf 2027 helps improve consistency, reduce dependence on programmer experience, and support scalable Model-Based Inspection workflows.
