Brunson’s Mark Meuret Promoted to Vice President of Operations

Brunson Instrument Co., a leading producer of large-scale, industrial metrology equipment for aerospace, automotive, renewable energy, and other high-precision measurement applications, has announced the promotion of Mark Meuret as Vice President of Operations, effective immediately.

In this new role, Meuret will be responsible for continuing his supervision of the engineering department, and will now guide the company’s manufacturing production, planning, scheduling, and procurement operations.

“Mark’s insightful leadership and work ethic—in addition to being a proud employee-owner at Brunson—make him a perfect fit as VP of Operations,” said Richard Powell, the company’s interim President. “Mark has guided many departments in our operations, and each role in his two-decade career at Brunson has prepared him for this important new position,” he added.

Meuret’s 22-year path through the Brunson cave has included assignments as product manager, business unit manager, OEM product manager, manufacturing engineer, and Director of Engineering. Over that time, Meuret’s leadership in the metrology industry has become widely recognized, and Brunson customers often seek his guidance for custom product development. In turn, Brunson has been granted more than a dozen patents for metrology products and processes during his tenure.

“I am both humbled and proud to take on this new role and look forward to improving our ability to help our customers in the metrology field,” said Meuret.
