Take CONTROL of Quality Assurance in 2022
The 34th CONTROL international trade fair for quality assurance will open its doors from the 3rd through the 6th of May, 2022. Expert visitors will experience brilliant, cutting-edge developments at the event in Stuttgart, Germany in the fields of vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as measuring and test technology. Visitors will discover individual approaches to solutions and efficient, cutting-edge QA technologies in six exhibition halls. “Our trade fairs are characterised by direct practical relevance and concrete applicability,” explains trade fair promoter Bettina Schall, managing director of P. E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG. “Control is setting the pace where quality assurance is concerned, and will provide our expert visitors with everything they need to excel in international competition with outstanding QA once again this year.”
Customers and Stakeholders from Around the World
CONTROL is an internationally frequented, indispensable leading trade fair and is one of the most interesting and important events of all for the QA sector. Customers and other interested parties from all over the world meet here and discuss new approaches and challenges for quality assurance in a personal exchange of expertise. The need for a professional exchange of ideas and experience concerning new developments is enormous after the compulsory 2-year hiatus due to the pandemic. Automation and digitalization, contactless processes, remote services, small lot sizes, zero-defects manufacturing, data analysis and end-to-end process traceability have brought a new urgency to quality inspection and quality assurance for all processes across all industrial sectors
QA solutions have never been as relevant as they are today. That’s why the CONTROL 2022 on-site trade fair is the place to be when it comes to measuring and test technology, materials testing, analysis equipment, vision technology, image processing and sensor technology, as well as weighing and counting technology. CONTROL is the most interesting, and probably the largest trade fair in these segments anywhere in the world. The exhibitor forum will provide expert visitors with the opportunity of finding out more about the product and service portfolios and the technological expertise offered by individual companies. As an integral part of Control’s agenda, world-class events which accompany the trade fair are held by renowned research facilities of the Fraunhofer Institute, i.e. the Fraunhofer Vision Alliance and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation (IPA). They promote the transfer of technology, showcase ready-to-use developments and point the way to the future with new QA concepts.
Experience Trends in Quality Assurance Including Artificial Intelligence
Traditionally, the special show for “Contactless Measuring Technology” is a firmly established innovation marketplace at CONTROL. Companies and research institutes jointly present new systems for contactless, non-destructive measuring and test technology at the show. Strong cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute IPA is equally well established, who will be on hand with their internationally esteemed Event Forum. Trends in quality assurance, including modern artificial intelligence (AI) systems, are presented here. Beyond this, participants will be provided with the opportunity of exploring and evaluating their own problem areas, because the Event Forum focuses attention on the practical implementation of QA know-how.
“Our exhibitors are looking forward to meeting up with lots of interested expert visitors again,” notes Control project manager Fabian Krüger. “All of the necessary preparations have been implemented and finalized on the basis of Messe Stuttgart’s hygiene concept. Everything is ready to go – and everybody is looking forward to CONTROL!”
