Revolutionary AGGRA Gauge To Celebrate Company’s 75th Anniversary at Control 2022

The history of industrial quality assurance is full of revolutionary technical inventions which have facilitated innovative new inspection methods and thus led to simpler, more efficient and more flexible production with significantly less scrap and maximized precision.

A prime example of these revolutionary innovations was, in its day, the AGGRA gauge from Kordt GmbH & Co. KG (AGGRA is the German acronym for thread roll snap gauge). In the field of quality-relevant inspection equipment, it replaced the thread ring gauge and thus permitted quick, low-wear inspection of external threads without having to unclamp the workpiece from the machine. For manufacturing companies, this resulted in significant time and cost savings, as well as higher quality production thanks to limit value and tolerance checks.

Kordt will celebrate its 75th anniversary at Control 2022 and will present a comprehensive, internationally established range of gauges and measuring instruments, as well as semi-automatic and fully automated test equipment, in keeping with its mission statement: “Precision for Performance”. There’s lots of excitement about the live event and Thomas Jantzen, the company’s CEO, will celebrate a very special trade fair anniversary during participation at the 34th Control: “For me personally, this will be my thirtieth time at Control. As the leading trade fair for measuring technology, the Control international trade fair for quality assurance has been offering an ideal forum for personal contact for decades. We want to find out how we can enhance the performance of our customers even more with our precision equipment during the course of personal meetings at Control 2022.”

Industrial quality assurance involves a continuous optimization process and Control is the only all-round event in the world that meets these multifaceted requirements. This is why world premieres are presented exclusively at this important international trade fair and new products are developed specifically to coincide with the trade fair dates. Preparation for the on-site trade fair is already running at full bore, because the 34th Control will take place in the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre at the heart of one of Europe’s leading technology regions from the 3rd through the 6th of May, 2022.

Editors Note: Given the recent postponement in Germany of both the METAV Expo and the HANNOVER MESSE until June 2022 we will watch and report if the scheduled CONTROL will be subjected to the same COVID fate.
