Orbbec Unveils Gemini 335Le Stereo Vision Cameras With Ethernet
Orbbec, a leading robotics and AI vision platform, has announced the launch of its Ethernet-enabled Gemini 335Le high-reliability stereo vision camera solution designed for robots operating in industrial environments.
Crucially, with this launch and ethernet connectivity, Orbbec’s Gemini 330 Series of depth cameras will now collectively support all three mainstream interfaces, across USB3, GMSL2 and Ethernet – an industry first. By providing such versatility of interfaces across its products, Orbbec is not only meeting customer’s needs today but also helping to push the boundaries of vision solutions for next-generation robotics.
The Gemini 335Le is the latest addition to the Gemini 330 stereo vision camera series for industrial robotic vision applications, such as industrial picking robotic arms, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and forklifts. It builds upon the exceptional depth performance of the Gemini 335L, featuring industrial-grade interfaces that ensure real-time, stable, and high-quality stereo visual data transmission enabling robots to operate in complex and demanding industrial settings.

M12 X-Coded and M8 A-Coded Interfaces for Industrial Reliability: The M12 X-coded interface enables simultaneous data and power delivery with superior stability in high-vibration, long-distance applications (cable length up to 100m), while the M8 A-coded interface supports DC power supply, multi-device synchronization, and RS-485 communication.
Purpose-Built to Excel in Harsh, Industrial Conditions: The long-lasting Gemini 335Le is highly resistant to both dust and water, with an IP67 rating, as well as extreme temperatures and widely varying ambient lighting conditions.
Easy to Set Up with Standard Connections: Uses industry-standard network protocols for smooth integration, including precision time protocol (PTP)-enabled cable-free synchronization and Power over Ethernet (PoE), with just a single cable.
Comprehensive Ecosystem Support for Seamless Deployment: The Gemini 335Le features an open-source SDK, support for ROS1/ROS2, and pre-integration with NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, Orin NX, Orin Nano, and AGX Xavier for AI-powered edge computing.
