OPT Machine Vision Tech Co., Ltd., a Chinese developer of machine vision hardware and software components for factory automation, has filed a prospectus with the Shanghai Stock Exchange to issue up to 1.27 billion yuan ($178 million USD) in convertible corporate bonds. According to market filings, the net proceeds from the six-year convertible bond issuance will target four core operational and technical priorities:

AI & Intelligent Vision R&D: Enhancing OPT’s proprietary deep-learning algorithms, software platforms, and computational optical solutions.
Industrial Robotics Core Projects: Developing specialized visual guidance, positioning, and force-sensing integrations designed for industrial robotic systems.
Working Capital & Global Scale: Supporting general corporate purposes to expand its international service network, particularly across European and North American markets.
