Visometry Accelerates Global Growth Despite Automotive Industry Headwinds
Visometry, a specialist in augmented reality solutions for industrial applications, is reporting an extremely positive result for the 2025 fiscal year while simultaneously looking ahead to the current year with ambitious goals. Despite the ongoing crisis in the automotive industry and economic stagnation in Europe, the company achieved revenue growth of 48 percent compared to the previous year. New customer acquisition was particularly dynamic: the number of companies using the quality inspection solution Twyn in daily operations increased by more than 40 percent in 2025.
“2025 marked a significant growth surge for Visometry,” explains Dr. Harald Wuest, CEO and co-founder of Visometry. “We not only increased our revenue by nearly 50 percent, but also expanded our workforce by 20 percent. We currently employ 44 people. Our internationalization strategy has proven to be a decisive success factor.” Key growth drivers included South Korea and Italy, both showing consistently positive development. Spain also moved into focus thanks to initial license sales and new partnerships.
Globally, the number of new customers rose by more than 40 percent. Twyn, the software for visual quality inspection, is now in daily use by around 300 customers. These include companies such as Liebherr, Siemens Mobility, WISAG, and Hyundai Electric.
In terms of products, Visometry once again set new benchmarks last year. The company’s developers expanded Twyn with the Assisted Deviation Detection (ADD) function, which supports quality engineers by automatically highlighting deviations between the target and actual condition of a component using color coding. In addition, the computer vision system was optimized in particular for the detection and tracking of very large components. Last but not least, the Twyn product team improved interfaces and support for additional CAD formats to make data exchange even more efficient.
Further Growth Through Innovation and Internationalization
In 2026, Visometry is focusing both on deeper penetration of existing markets and the development of new ones. “Our goal is to further expand our international presence. To achieve this, we want to continue our success story through continuous innovation and deliberately tap into new markets and industries,” says Harald Wuest.
The internationalization strategy is particularly focused on South America and East Asia. As in North America, Visometry is relying in part on the expansion of strategic partnerships. In Europe, the company is aiming for further growth in Spain, France, and the United Kingdom.
On the customer side, manufacturers of welded assemblies, agricultural and construction machinery, and other specialty vehicles remain key target groups. In addition, Visometry is now opening up new industries, such as aerospace and steel construction in the building sector.
On the product side, innovation remains a central growth driver. Twyn is continuously being expanded with new functionalities, including improved tracking algorithms, optimization of the user experience and workflows, and integration with partner systems for seamless exchange of component data. The team is also working on new AI functionalities for detecting differences and anomalies, as well as supporting daily inspection tasks in highly complex scenarios.
