Siemens to Launch Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner at EMO 2025
Siemens has announced it will unveil Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner, a breakthrough software solution designed to revolutionize CNC programming directly on the shop floor at EMO 2025. By merging advanced 3D analysis technologies with programming capabilities on the CNC control itself, Siemens aims to deliver significant gains in efficiency, precision, and production quality.
The new solution is part of the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio and represents an important step forward in process optimization for manufacturing.
Programming Directly on the CNC Control
Unlike traditional workflows that rely heavily on offline programming and manual data entry, Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner is embedded directly into Sinumerik Operate. This integration enables users to generate and refine programs on the control, while automatically transferring geometric data from 3D CAD models into CNC programs. The elimination of manual input not only reduces errors but also translates into substantial time and cost savings.
Automated Data Transfer Enhancing Efficiency and Quality
The system leverages intelligent 3D scanning to provide tailored recommendations for machining strategies based on detected geometric features. These automated suggestions improve the parameterization of machining cycles, reducing the likelihood of programming errors and ensuring consistent production quality. For machine manufacturers, the benefits are twofold: higher efficiency in their customers’ operations and a compelling competitive advantage in the market.
Proven in Collaboration with DMG MORI
The solution has already demonstrated its value through a successful pilot project with DMG MORI, confirming its ability to seamlessly integrate into existing production environments. As a result, Optimize MyProgramming /3D Scanner will be offered as a standard option in all DMG MORI machines equipped with Sinumerik One.
With this launch, Siemens underscores its commitment to advancing digitalized manufacturing through intelligent, shop floor-oriented solutions.
