Mahr’s New Bore Measuring Device Enhances Speed and Accuracy on the Shop Floor
Mahr is expanding its broad and deep portfolio of handheld metrology with a digital 3-point inside measuring device for testing inside diameters. The Micromar 844 EWR(i) impresses with its ergonomic handle with retraction lever for fast, self-centering measurements over the entire measuring range as well as the rotatable display with touch operation.
With the Micromar 844 EWR(i) inside measuring device, users can quickly measure diameters of different sizes with a flick of the wrist – right- and left-handed alike. The stroke path covers the entire range of application of the respective measuring head. With the red control buttons in the lever, users can either trigger a data command or activate the hold function – ideal for situations where they do not have a direct view of the device display (e.g. in the machine). The spring-loaded measuring force guarantees a high level of reproducibility of the measurement results for measurements such as through-hole or blind holes. But it’s not just the lever retraction that is new: the integrated rotatable display module also impresses with features such as the touch control buttons with practical direct functions, an extra-hardened glass front and colored LEDs for measuring values.
Micromar 844 EWR(i) is available in a wide range of sizes for measuring ranges from six to 100 mm. Three preset and tolerance values are possible as a preset setting. Depending on their preference, users can choose between different connectivity: the 44 EWR model with bidirectional data output (cable) or the 44 EWRi model with integrated wireless transmission. Remote control is ensured via the MarCom Professional software, which can be downloaded free of charge. Customers can also receive the Micromar 844 EWR(i) as a standalone device or as a set.
