Creaform Strengthens Global Service Network with New ISO 17025 Calibration Facilities

Creaform, has announced the opening of two new service centers that will offer local ISO 17025 calibration for its EVO, BLACK, and MAX Series of the HandySCAN 3D lineup. With these new centers located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico and Exton, Pennsylvania, United States, Creaform customers in the US and Mexico can now access certified calibration locally, reducing shipping delays and downtime.

The ISO 17025 calibration service is backed by test protocols that have been reviewed and approved by an independent certified auditor. Customers will now be able to obtain calibration certificates aligned with their quality management systems, while avoiding the complexities of international shipping.

“The launch of this new service is a major step forward in making certified calibration more accessible to our customers,” said David Gagné, Vice-president of Operations and Customer Services. “It reinforces our dedication to delivering localized, high-quality support and our focus on going beyond expectations to deliver the ultimate customer experience.”

The new service centers are part of Creaform’s broader strategy to enhance its serviceability offering. With 17 service centers and 4 advanced repair centers worldwide, Creaform continues to expand its footprint to better serve its customers.

The deployment timeline includes:

End of 2025: US and Mexico service centers begin offering ISO 17025 calibration for the HandySCAN 3D EVO, BLACK, and MAX Series.

Early 2026: Global deployment of ISO 17025 calibration for the HandySCAN 3D EVO, BLACK, and MAX Series to most service centers around the world.

Mid-2026: Expansion of the ISO 17025 calibration service to include MetraSCAN 3D and HandyPROBE.

Fall 2026: On-site calibration available for R-Series customers and key accounts.

Performance Check Kit

In addition to the new service centers, Creaform is also introducing the Performance Check Kit, a new accessory designed to allow users to verify system performance directly on-site. Integrated seamlessly into Creaform.OS, this simple and user-friendly kit enables users to:

  • Perform interim system checks anytime without sending equipment back.
  • Generate performance reports autonomously with a guided, intuitive workflow.
  • Receive calibration certificates through self-certification (non-ISO 17025).
  • Prevent any downtime while supporting continuous operational reliability.

These developments also align with key updates to Creaform’s Customer Care Plans, including the addition of remote health checks and refined calibration options to better suit customer needs.
