Baumer Expands Force and Strain Measurement Portfolio with Acquisition of X-Sensors AG
Baumer has announced the acquisition of Swiss sensor specialist X-Sensors AG, further strengthening its position in force and strain measurement technology.
For more than 25 years, X-Sensors has developed and manufactured high-precision force and strain sensors for demanding applications used by leading OEMs. The integration of X-Sensors into Baumer will broaden the company’s high-performance product offering in this field. The merger of the two development teams is also expected to accelerate innovation and deliver advanced solutions to the market more quickly.
