Weighing just 570 g and measuring 203 mm × 80 mm × 44 mm, SIMSCAN Gen2 features a full-metal, aerospace-grade housing for durability and comfort. Its compact, ergonomic design ensures easy handling for long-term use, making it suitable for both professionals and newcomers to 3D scanning.
Equipped with 27 laser crosses powered by advanced algorithms SIMSCAN Gen2 delivers up to 5.8 million measurements/second with accuracy up to 0.020 mm. ISO 17025 accredited and VDI/VDE certified, it ensures reliable, metrology-grade results across diverse industrial applications.
Specialized Scanning Modes
SIMSCAN Gen2 offers three specialized scanning modes:
Ultra-Fast Scanning: Rapid 3D digitization for efficient workflows.
Hyperfine Scanning: Captures intricate details with exceptional precision.
Deep-Hole Scanning: Accesses confined spaces, including holes and slots.
With 17 parallel laser lines and an additional laser for deep-hole scanning, SIMSCAN Gen2 excels at capturing complex structures, fine details, black and reflective surfaces, and other challenging geometries.
