Verisurf to Showcase Verisurf 2027 and Future of Model-Based Metrology at IMTS 2026
Verisurf Software will introduce Verisurf 2027 at IMTS 2026 (booth 13433), showcasing the company’s latest advancements in model-based metrology, open connectivity, and automated inspection programming. Throughout the show, Verisurf will present a comprehensive lineup of model-based metrology solutions, demonstrating practical workflows that help manufacturers improve productivity, increase quality, and streamline inspection processes.
Bringing Measurement Closer to Production
Attendees will get hands-on insight into Verisurf’s latest model-based inspection, 3D scanning, reverse engineering, automated CMM programming, and QIF-enabled features, all designed to help quality teams move faster, improve consistency, and bring measurement closer to production.
Live demonstrations will feature:
- Verisurf 2027 powering the latest sensor technologies
- Portable metrology including CMM arms with laser scanners, laser trackers, and handheld scanners
- The new Renishaw Equator X, combining CMM and comparator capabilities
- Two advanced 5-axis CMMs featuring Renishaw’s REVO and PH20
Visitors will also experience new Verisurf 2027 capabilities, including automatic inspection plan creation from QIF and enhanced Persistent IDs (PIDs) that preserve engineering intent from the STEP AP242 engineering model throughout the manufacturing process. Built on an open CAD platform, the software helps users eliminate manual processes while maintaining complete alignment with the original product definition.
“Customers want to automate inspection without losing the connection to the engineering STEP model,” said Ernie Husted, President of Verisurf Software. “Verisurf 2027 strengthens that connection through model-based workflows, QIF interoperability, and Persistent IDs (PIDs) that preserve engineering intent throughout the manufacturing process.”
Metrology Universality
Technical specialists will be available at IMTS to discuss specific manufacturing challenges and demonstrate how Verisurf integrates with virtually all major CAD systems, CMMs, portable measurement devices, laser trackers, scanners, and machine tool probing systems to create flexible, interoperable inspection solutions.
Attendees are encouraged to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a Verisurf metrology expert during the show. Each consultation is designed to address the customer’s unique applications and production challenges. During the meeting, attendees will receive a custom engineering notebook along with technical information tailored to their manufacturing requirements. To schedule a meeting.
As an added benefit, IMTS attendees may reserve a complimentary Verisurf GD&T Mousepad just for stopping by the booth. Simply register before the show. Reserved mousepads will be available for pickup at the Verisurf booth during the exhibition while supplies last.
