Axiospec Releases Free Suite of 15 Metrology Calculators
Axiospec, a cloud calibration management platform from CaliTech has released a free suite of 15 metrology and quality calculators.
The suite covers the calculations calibration technicians and quality engineers perform most: measurement uncertainty budgets per JCGM 100 (GUM), Type A uncertainty, Welch-Satterthwaite effective degrees of freedom, TUR and TAR, guard banding with ILAC-G8 decision rules, resolution uncertainty, thermocouple and RTD uncertainty, Gage R&R and attribute agreement studies per AIAG MSA, bias and linearity, process capability (Cp and Cpk), calibration intervals from reliability targets, drift rate, and a calibration audit readiness self-assessment.
Every calculator runs in the browser, shows its method and formula, and cites the standard it follows. Nothing is stored or tracked.
“Most free calculators out there skip the stuff auditors actually ask about. Where did the coverage factor come from, what decision rule did you apply. We built the ones we wished existed and made them free,” said Timothy Malone, founder of Axiospec.
