Updated I++ Simulator Aids Migration to Automated QC Processes

The latest version of I ++ Simulator from Hexagon Manufacturing intelligence is available; the 8th version of measurement process simulation tool offers virtual coordinate metrology. The latest version of the I ++ Simulation software is designed to play a key role in the migration towards automated production processes.

I ++ Simulator allows users to simulate existing measurement programs and create new programs for their specific metrology hardware and software, as well as peripheral equipment such as robots and part transportation systems.

Its offline programming capability is ideal for the design and feasibility analysis of automated metrology systems, in addition he tpackage also allows operator training. It is also possible to create new part programs offline to maximize the equipment uptime.

Other improvements of I ++ Simulator include:

  • Software can work with additional sensors and tool changers ensuring accurate modeling of the customers’ inspection equipment.
