September has been a very busy month for Metrology News with the USA’s biennial IMTS Machine Tool Exhibition showcasing a host of new metrology product introductions. The 32nd edition of IMTS announced record registration of 129,415 visitors, featured 1,424,232 sqft of exhibit space with over 2,500 exhibiting companies. Industry 4.0, The Smart Factory and Additive Manufacturing took center stage with metrology playing a pivotal role in their implementation. Metrology News has published over 40 articles in September to-date which included “Latest Laser Tracker Range”, “Smart Enterprise Metrology Platform”, “CEO Explains Sandvik Decision to Enter Digital Manufacturing Economy”“InspectionXpert Acquired”, “FactorySmart Sensors to Drive I4.0 Automated Factory”, and “Augmented Reality Plug-In”.
