Metrology Standards Team Present QIF Implementations at IMTS

Dimensional Metrology Standards Consortium (“DMSC”), the organization supporting critical manufacturing standards and Quality Information Framework (“QIF”), is sending their team to the International Manufacturing Technology Show (“IMTS”) September 10-15, 2018 in Chicago, USA.

Key Directors and Members of DMSC will be hosting conversations and showcasing QIF implementations and supporting dimensional metrology standards in Booth #135000 (East building level 3) on the trade show floor offering a unique opportunity to network with QIF implementers and learn more about how they might carry QIF back to their operations following IMTS.

Supporting the booth will be:
Curtis Brown, Principal Engineer at Honeywell FM&T
John Horst, National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST)
and several other prominent end users of QIF.

When asked about the importance of DMSC/QIF attending this year’s IMTS, Curtis Brown, Principal Engineer at Honeywell FM&T and President of DMSC commented: “DMSC represents some of the most innovative, progressive, and advanced organizations in the world today, each on the cutting edge of research and technology in the field of dimensional metrology. Attending IMTS puts us in direct contact with the newest companies expanding into the field of dimensional metrology applications. We constantly seek opportunities to share the importance of standards which ultimately benefit manufacturing on a global scale.”
