3DMC 2025 – GERMANY

From 16th to 18th September 2025, the 3D Metrology Conference will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Aachen. 3DMC is one of the most important and respected conferences in the field of industrial measurement technology.
It is organized by WZL | RWTH Aachen University in cooperation with the UK’s National Physical Laboratory (NPL), University College London (UCL), Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) and the WZL Aachen GmbH. Following previous successful events in Aachen, Hamburg, London, Bilbao and Loughborough, the 10th event will return to its original location on Campus Melaten in Aachen.
The conference typically brings together up to 200 industrial users and academic experts who together shape the unique character of this event. An innovative programme of presentations complements an open industrial forum, Special Interest Sessions and dedicated networking opportunities.
The industrial forum will once again take place in the new machine hall at WZL where innovative use cases can be presented and discussed within a wider metrology community. In combination with technical talks on indus trial applications and developments in technology, 3DMC offers training and networking opportunities for companies and their employees.
