COVID-19 – PTC Offers Free Augmented Reality Support App During Crisis

As a global community, we are all facing unprecedented challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. On an almost daily basis, government health organizations are issuing new recommendations on how companies can ensure the health and safety of employees, customers, and partners.

Among the many recommendations from government health organizations for the workplace, including the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is to maintain social distance from fellow employees.

No Training Required

Vuforia Chalk makes it easy when troubleshooting or expert guidance is needed for situations not covered in training or service manuals.

Until June 30th, and longer if the crisis dictates, PTC will be offering Vuforia Chalk for free, with no obligations, for all those who feel this technology can help their teams better navigate this crisis and maintain business continuity. PTC hopes this gesture will help companies continue to deliver critical expertise to remote service technicians and customers, even as the world around us shifts to make connecting in person more difficult.
