Creaform Invests $1 Million To Support Japan & APAC Business

A state-of-the-art repair and technical support facility has been set up to cater to Creaform’s unprecedented market growth in the region

Creaform, a worldwide leader in portable 3D measurement solutions and engineering services, has announced that is has invested one million dollars in a brand-new calibration, repair and technical support center.

Located near Narita International Airport and just 90 minutes from downtown Tokyo, this high-tech and environmentally controlled 400 m2 facility will allow Creaform to provide more localized support and provide faster response times for customers in Japan and throughout Asia-Pacific. The company has already hired four full-time employees, bringing the company’s total support team to 30 worldwide.

“This investment is extremely strategic for Creaform as we continue to increase our market share in Japan and APAC,” said Martin Lamontagne, Vice President and Business Unit Manager. “We’ll be able to more effectively provide support and expertise attuned to the region’s unique manufacturing and quality control challenges. This is the next logical step in our market development initiatives and ambitious plan for our leadership position in Asia.”

Creaform’s global growth shows no signs of slowing down. While this new facility is Creaform’s fourth, it is also expanding in its other centres located in Canada, France and China.
