August Metrology News Magazine

Editors Message:
This month Metrology News editorial focus was reverse engineering and the role that it now plays in bringing new products to market. We highlighted a number of application stories using various scanning sensor technologies. The EMO exhibition, which is regarded as the world’s #1 trade-show for the metalworking industry is this year located in Hanover featuring 2,200 exhibitors from 44 countries. (September 16-21) and coincides with the recent Germany’s machine tool industry reporting a 22% decline in factory orders. It should be a great experience the very latest technologies and also gauge the global manufacturing economy.
