Accretech Opens UK Metrology Solutions Center
ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH, manufacturer of industrial measurement technology has announced the opening of its UK Solution Center in Coventry on September 1st.
“ACCRETECH products have been well known in the UK since the 1980s, at that time still under the brand name TSK,” explains Marcus Czabon, Head of Business Unit Metrology at ACCRETECH. “And with the new Solution Center, we can now continue our strategy of customer proximity and local roots in the UK, Ireland and Northern Europe”.
Tim Wood, Regional Director North Europe, ACCRETECH SBS UK Ltd. will be responsible for the UK and Scandinavian market. Wood was previously head of the Balancer Division of Schmitt Industries and moved to ACCRETECH (Europe) GmbH in 2020 following the acquisition of the SBS Balancer line by Tosei Engineeing Corp. in November 2019.
“The UK metrology (SF&G) market is the second largest in Europe. With the current COVID-19 situation there has never been a more important time for manufacturers to consider integrating metrology solutions into their production process with a view to increasing productivity and quality in order to minimize costs,” Tim Wood is convinced. Wood sees particular growth potential in the medical, dental and food packaging sectors. “That’s why ACCRETECH wants to support these growth areas with the Solution Center and expand its service offering for its existing customer base in the automotive, warehousing and aerospace industries,” says Wood.
The new Solution Center will provide comprehensive information and advice about the services and products offered by ACCRETECH. In addition to demonstrations on surfaces, contour and form measurements, ACCRETECH will also offer measurement services and training at the Solution Center.
