Updated eMMA Dimensional Data Management and Analytics Software Version Released

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence has announced the release of the latest version of its eMMA software suite for dimensional data management and analytics. The new version of the quality management software adds dimensional quality planning, reporting and monitoring functions to support part and assemblies manufacturers across automotive, shipbuilding and agribusiness industries. It also offers enterprise-level performance for large data sets of measurement results, coupled with fast native 3D visualization.

eMMA now features integration with Q-DAS qs-STAT, allowing eMMA 3D Analyst users to seamlessly visualise, report and analyse large measurement data sets enriched by statistical process control charts and formulas. This innovation combines the capabilities of both tools in an intuitive 3D environment. The software supports suppliers and OEMs alike in applying their unique evaluation strategies to measurement results from variety of sources, independent of what make or model of metrology system is used. This release of eMMA also offers a simplified graphical user interface along with new utilities such as the full-text search, quick-access tools to inspection plans, measurement results and templates that help streamline the dimensional data analysis workflow. The eMMA Assembler module has also been updated to support advanced 3D analysis between assembly structures, for example when analysing flush and gap quality.

“This is the first major release of eMMA since it became part of the Hexagon software portfolio in October 2017, and we’re proud to be able to announce the integration with Q-DAS so soon after the acquisition,” said Siegfried Heinz, eMMA Commercial Support Manager and Product Owner. “eMMA is a powerful tool for dimensional data management, quality planning and analytics, and this new functionality strengthens its value proposition for a number of cross-segment use cases.”
