Trescal Announces Acquisitions in USA and France

Trescal, the international specialist in calibration services, has announced the acquisition of Diamond Technical Services (DTS) based in Boston, USA and the acquisition of ACTEAM Industries in Nantes, France.

Founded in 2003, DTS is a ANAB ISO 17025 (2005) accredited calibration laboratory with skills in dimensional, pressure and temperature, particularly in accordance to the requirements of AMS 2750E specifications. DTS employs 23 people and its sales reached $ 2.5 million in 2017.

DTS CEO, Timothy Mullen, will remain in his current position to pursue the development and the integration of the company within Trescal Group.

Founded in 2006, ACTEAM is the French leader in high-accuracy assembly tools and also provides COFRAC accredited calibration services in torque. The company employs 12 people and its sales reached a turnover of 2.1 million euros in 2017. The company addresses all industrial sectors in particular Aeronautics, Automotive, Transport and Energy.

ACTEAM founder and CEO, Christophe Poisson, will remain in his current position to pursue the development and the integration of the company within Trescal.

Trescal operate over 125 owned calibration laboratories and employ approximately 3300 people across the world. Trescal service customers in Defense, Aerospace, Aeronautics, Automotive, Power Generation, Electronics Manufacturing, Communications and Medical & Chemistry sectors with sales revenues of 310 million Euros.
