Sandvik Commences Journey Into Digital Manufacturing Solutions 

Sandvik is continuously investing in new technologies for different products and services, and to develop the offer in digital manufacturing. At IMTS Chicago this week Sandvik is launching its new digital manufacturing concept Allting which gathers innovative solutions from its portfolio companies TDM Systems and Metrologic Group. Sandvik will exhibit how to address the machining value chain with solutions as uFab for machining quotations in seconds, Prism for a completely new way of programming CNC machines, TDM Systems brand new solutions for Tool Lifecycle Management and Smart Supply to manage physical tools with an innovative tool logistics solution. In addition, Metrologic will show how to integrate 3D measurements on the shop floor by using standard industry robots. Sandvik acquired Metrologic Group as of July 4, 2018.
