August has seen a flurry of new product introductions coming into the market as the pace of metrology innovations and technological advancements continues at a relentless pace. The USA is making last minute preparations for its biennial IMTS Machine Tool Exhibition where metrology at this year’s event will be more in focus than ever before as Industry 4.0 and The Smart Factory take center stage with metrology becoming centric to delivering the actionable data necessary to achieve implementation.
